Water Chemistry

Raman Light Scatter is being applied to determine water chemistry.

We develop electro optical instruments which process laser light Raman scattered from samples, to determine water chemistry.  Raman spectroscopy provides a measurable "fingerprint" of the chemicals in the water.

The target application is to monitor build up of organic/inorganic contaminants in a recirculating aquaculture system (RAS). Our low cost laser systems are combined with custom high speed electronics and data acquisition.

Various color lasers strike a water sample and the scattered light collected through a spectrometer.
